Achieve Your Goal
Use existing administrative, power channels to help you achieve your goal
Working with school administrators, local or legislative officials can result in faster and more sustainable change. Many administrators want a youth voice present, and they will welcome the chance to listen to your concerns. If they are not receptive, be creative in finding other channels and people in power to support your efforts.
Action:
Meet with the administrators who have direct impact on your issue.
Put together a petition.
Call your legislators. This really does make a difference. Phone calls get logged in.
Write letters to your school administration, legislators, both federal and state, or city administrators.
Write letters to the editors of local papers.
