Be a consumer of news, understand bias in media

Absorb the intersectionality of the issues in news stories, try to listen to opposing viewpoints, and recognize the background and potential bias of a news source.  

Action:

Understand the counterarguments and opposition to your views. Use resources to help you decide what really are the facts. Move away from win-lose to a place of compromise and understanding. Listening to many news sources will help you do this.
