Cheryl Owsley-Jackson
Cheryl Owsley-Jackson M.A. Journalism (Indiana University), B.A. Journalism (Indiana University). Cherlyl is a Journalist-In-Residence at Emerson College. Cheryl began her career in the news business as a feature writer and diversity columnist for The Columbus Republic. She wrote her column, "It Takes All Kinds" for more than a decade. Her first job in television was as a convergence reporter for WSBT and the South Bend Tribune in South Bend, Indiana, where she flipped her on-air stories for WSBT to print stories for The Tribune. She finished her broadcast career as a correspondent for CNN. She has also taught journalism at Indiana University and Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Cheryl successfully launched a national campaign for justice for a personal cause.
